Tympanometry
If Tymp is selected on the main menu by inserting the probe in ear EV will be displayed and "ready" status is shown on screen . pressing start will preform the test. Beside the tympanogram, EV compliance, gradiant and middle ear pressure will be calculated & displayed. To test next ear you must choose right or left or you can repeat the test again.Graph Scale, pump speed and pressure range can be defined in setup menu. If manual mode selected pressure can be controlled by dial and pressing "record" will draw the graph
Reflexometry
If reflex is selected the test will begin by
start key. Defined frequencies will
stimulate the ear for 0.8 second at
70dBHL and its intensity will increment
till reflex is detected or reached to the
maximum output. Ipsi and Contra
outputs are available for reflex and
pure tone or noise signals (LP, HP, WN) can be used
as stimulus for both. Also non acoustic
reflex is available in NAR mode.
Reflex test can be preformed manually
by operator and tests like reflex decay
are accessible in manual mode.
ETF
Eusachian Tube Function for both non
perforated eardrums (Williams) as ETF1
and perforated eardrums (Toynbee) as
ETF2 can be tested in Automatic or
manual mode
Audiometry
8 frequencies from 250 to 8kHz with
Intensity range of 0 to 120dB in 5dB or
1dB step is available and the audiogram
will be displayed on the LCD panel by
storing thresholds. The results can be
stored for both ears on one page
High probe tone
Three probe tones can be used for both tympanometry and reflexometry. 226Hz for normal ear volumes 0.2 to 5ml 687Hz and 1kHz for infants and small ear volumes up to 2ml. Best results for high probe tones are achieved on 0.1 to 0.5ml ears
Computer connection
AZ95 can be connected to PC by USB or Com port. The software can create a database of patients and save and analyze all graphs and test results. Also you are able to online view, type report and print the test results.
